In this whimsically macabre stop-motion musical inspired by the Greek myth, Eurydice is forced to reexamine her identity after awakening in the Hotel, Home of the Dead. Unaware that her partner Orpheus has set out to rescue her, Eurydice weighs her choices: to remain in the Hotel, sleeping the afterlife away like most other guests; or to forget her past life and be reincarnated.

A young archaeologist battling depression discovers time travel when she digs up her own skeleton. On her trips to Ancient Greece, she befriends a girl from the past and begins to find life worth living - but will she be able to escape the fate she found buried in stone?
