Robin Shushan is the daughter of a Navajo-Apache-Latina whose real-life transformation story inspired her passion for underrepresented, character-driven story-telling.
Robin started her career as a playwright in New York City. When her hit, all-girl rock musical, Prey For Rock & Roll was optioned for film, she moved to Los Angeles, wrote her first screenplay, and watched her film produced.

In June and July of 2024, Prey for Rock & Roll is getting a theatrical re-release in New York and Los Angeles, as well as a blu-ray release, and a Netflix deal.
After Prey's success, Robin joined the WGA and became a prolific feature writer, working for several independent producers, mini & major studios, and with directors, Peter Berg, Miguel Sapochnik, Taylor Hackford, and Phil Alden Robinson, Kaz Kiriya, and Julius Cevcik.
Robin has a large body of original and adapted work in multiple and blended genres, formats, and styles. She's had several original and adapted features and pilots optioned for development with several studios, independent production companies, STARZ, Hallmark, and CBS/PatMa.

Prior to the agent firing of 2018, Robin was represented at CAA, her original series AMERICA INC was in development at Stampede.
