Serita Stevens is an award-winning writer of numerous published books. Her first books sold over 100,000 copies. She studied screenwriting at Columbia College (Chicago) and received her master’s in writing from Antioch University in London while doing her student teaching at Oxford. She loves helping animals and adopted her daughter as a single mom from Romania. As a forensic nurse, she helps domestic violence victims and works as an expert witness for the court. She provides help with medical, poison, and forensic issues for other writers/producers. Serita has adapted many of her books and stories for the screen and has placed in many competitions including being semi-finalists in the Page Awards and the Nickelodeon fellowship.
