An award winning British writer, Sophie became well known as a girl for starring as Titty in the EMI movie SWALLOWS & AMAZONS (1974). She has a degree in Anthropology and a background in TV production. After producing an INSET series, directing comedies and writing her own docu-dramas for BBC TV, Sophie set up wildlife films in Botswana and Namibia. Her WWII screenplay set in East Africa was optioned by George Marshall. She has won nine awards for her screenplay set on Zanzibar and is working on a short entitled 'BANANA MAN - the true story' about Phil the Physicist, who inadvertently increased the national consumption of bananas by 20%.
