In 1993, Stephen Barber was invited to share his experience on The Rikki Lake Show as the youngest, unwilling explorer at a Utah Wilderness Camp for troubled youth, but he refused. Years later, after surviving a troubled childhood, gang affiliation, substance abuse, and his time in the United States Marine Corps, Stephen took to writing screenplays because now he has something to say. His features and pilots have been "Recommended" through coverage, and he continues to place highly in nearly every competition he has entered. He's looking for representation and is excited about forging relationships with people as hungry as his writing. Stephen seeks to obtain a Manager and Partner to help propel his writing toward audiences of those who crave material like Severance, Ozark, and The Place Beyond the Pines.
