I'm from Santiago, Chile, a country in South America next to Argentina, Perú, and Bolivia (Pedro Pascal's country of origin).
I've always been inclined towards writing and fine arts, being a sensitive soul. I learned to play piano at an early age and got two awards in poetry contests. My interests have been theater, music, philosophy, writing and reading. At the end of the 90s, screenwriting in Chile wasn't a reknowned art form; I only knew I loved writing, so I decided to study Journalism at the Diego Portales University. Here I fell in love with the audiovisual arts and became an assistant of several courses and at the laboratory. In those times I thought I would be an editor, but some years later, I discovered a movie script in a used bookstore and found, right there, what I really wanted to do in life. Since then, I have been signing up for every workshop within my reach (Robert McKee, Mark Axelrod, Laura Ferrari in Buenos Aires); I studied all the books I could find and worked as an assistant for screenwriter Julio Rojas. Also, I have been a professor in screenwriting since 2009.
So I followed my dream and got specialized in scriptwriting and editing. I was excited working as co-scriptwriter of the film’s screenplay “Jailbreak Pact” (2020), the documentary “130 Children” (2022), and several TV and film winnings projects from Chilean funds. I also studied the UCLA Professional Program in Writing for Television Online, one of the best experiences of my life, where I met a group of talented writers with whom we maintain a writing consultant group.
Among my personal interests, I have been practicing zen meditation since 2001, and been attracted by improvisation in its different forms like dance, clown (where I connect with my true self and vulnerability), and improv; this allows me to experience what it's like to create from the void. I’m also involved in singing classes; additionally, I do dubbing and voiceover works.
