Tex Gresham is the author of Sunflower, Heck, Texas, Easy Rider II: Sleazy Driver(s) and the forthcoming poetry collection, This is Strange June. His prose work has been published widely both online and in print. Tex is the recipient of the 2020 Humanitas David and Lynn Angell Comedy College Fellowship for his feature Fix Daddy. His LGBTQ revenge western, Sometimes the Devil Wins, was the #1 Western of all time on Coverfly in 2021 and was a finalist for the 2021 Screencraft Feature contest. His other screenplays have received recognition from numerous contests and fellowships including the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, Network ISA, Script Pipeline, Screencraft, Cinestory, and more. He's currently writing in a professional capacity on two in-production projects––more details forthcoming.
Tex has a BA in Film Studies from Texas State University, an MFA in Fiction from San Diego State University, and an MFA in Writing for Dramatic Media from UNLV. He currently lives in Las Vegas with his partner, V Ruiz, and their kiddo––with plans to move to Los Angeles in summer 2022.
