Filmmaker seeking screenwriter to collaborate on a story idea and turn into a fictional rock biopic/drama feature. Looking for a talented writer with their own style/voice to help deliver a commercially entertaining story with deeper themes. Visual writing is a very important skill. The story is set in the present time and there is an art-house element contained within the story idea. Someone with heavy metal/rock music knowledge is preferred, but this is not a basic rock music story. The strength of your writing is the primary factor.

The feature will be produced and directed by the filmmaker. The filmmaker has access to studio partners and production companies and is looking to present a quality screenplay to these partners.

Please be aware, this is a deferred payment project. This is a chance for a talented writer looking to build their writing slate and to have a screenplay project being championed by the filmmaker
