Filmmaker seeking to collaborate with a writing partner for an ultra-low budget feature.  Looking for a good click with a partner first, and from there we'll find the story.  The right partner may also be a producer or actor or anything else, but shouldn't want to direct this one. Mild preference for a partner in Southern California.

Idea may come from either person, develop collaboratively, or we can consider a script you're stuck on. Equal split, or a story/screenplay split if the situation merits. Budget could be anything from $40K to $800K. Compensation can be discussed immediately, but depends on scope of project. I can bring in crew and some some funding, and will be shopping project to cover the rest. We should aim for an ultra-low budget script, but not necessarily an ultra-low budget story.

Project considerations for filmmaker:

• Project should be indie/arthouse or crossover (i.e. the meeting point between indie and mainstream)

• Open to a wider range of genres than I was able to list. Not into action or adventure or superhero, etc.
