RE-POST: Imaginative, Character-driven, Emotionally Impactful Features

Paid Gig

This is a re-post of a previous gig. The Industry Pro is still looking.

In search of a highly imaginative, character-driven, emotionally impactful feature film with integral visual spectacle that fits organically within the story. If budget were no object and imagination was everything, what world story would you create to make sense of our current world? Examples of films we love: HER, EX MACHINA, CHILDREN OF MEN, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, SWISS ARMY MAN and ARRIVAL are comps.

This Industry Pro is looking for additional projects. If you've already submitted, please do not post the same material again. They have likely passed on that script but welcome new material.

Script requirements:

- Solid emotional core
- A profound message that the audience is left with at the end of the movie
- A unique perspective/lens through which this story is told

The Industry Pro searching for this script has been vetted and verified by the ISA. They have the means to fund the project that suits their mandate at any budget level and are looking for a writer with a unique style and authentic voice. All genders will be considered equally. WGA and Non-WGA writers welcome to apply.

Scripts from anywhere in the world to be considered for purchase as well as development. And, there's the potential for a paid position as a staff writer in Los Angeles, CA.

Please submit your most original work.

What does "ISA Vetted" mean?

“ISA Vetted Producer” means that this producer is professional with notable credits in the industry, but they’ve asked to remain anonymous through the first stage of the submission process. The ISA will vet all submissions and select a few to submit to that producer per their expectations or requirements of the gig. Upon submitting your work to the producer, the ISA will notify you who the production company or studio is. This is to protect these industry pros from writers contacting them outside the ISA system, which is a violation of our Terms of Use.
