An award-winning production company is seeking a low budget screenplay.  Ideally, the story would be set in the industrial Midwest with a focus on Midwestern stories.  Open to all genres, but most interested in drama, thriller and musical.  Most interested in farm stories or working-class dramas or thrillers or musicals that fit into that backdrop.  Think films in the spirit of Winter's Bone, Sideways, or a midwestern Before Sunrise.
