Author with script based on real people and some real events during WWII. The main characters are African American soldiers, as well as German soldiers. The script was originally optioned to a renowned indie film director. It's become a very timely story all over again and I'd like to revive it with a fresh perspective. 

Seeking a writing partner willing to collaborate with me on a revised draft of this screenplay that we can share script credit on and take to production companies. Experienced screenwriters or award winners preferred but not essential. I'm especially looking for an African American writer with an interest in history.

Pay would be deferred for both of us of course as this is currently spec, but we would sign an agreed-upon collaboration agreement. Am currently looking for an agent for this script but collab writer does not need to come with an agent. This would obviously be a remote collaboration with routine TBD by both parties.
