Biography

Jen Bieser is a Native American Indian (growing up in Palm Springs, California) screenwriter and playwright based in Europe. Her work is rooted in personal transformation, irreverent humor, and outsider insight-reflecting a lived experience that bridges cultures, communities, and continents.

Jen writes character-driven comedies, dramas, and dramedies that blend emotional truth with subversive wit. With a background in the arts and years spent directing U.S. Army arts and cultural centers across Europe, she brings a multidisciplinary lens to storytelling, honing a sharp eye for the absurdity and beauty in human contradictions. Her stories often explore moral gray zones, personal reinvention, and the search for purpose in unexpected places. Her narratives are both intimate and universally resonant. 

Her screenwriting has been recognized as a finalist in prestigious competitions, including the ScreenCraft Comedy Competition, ScreenCraft Drama Competition, and ISA's Top 10 Emerging Screenwriters. Jen is open to collaborations that champion stories with humanity, heart, humor, cultural commentary, and bold creative exploration. 

Jen's stage play adaption of her feature, 'Michael Wants To Marry' will premiere in Heidelberg, Germany (01/2026).
