As a screenwriter, Scott has won the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards for his action/adventure screenplay "The Devil's Symphony", ScriptPipline's 1st Look Project for his western screenplay "The Legend of the Forty Thieves", and ScreenCraft's Horror Screenplay Contest for his werewolf screenplay "Bad Moon Rising". Additionally to those three wins, Scott is a Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist for his supernatural fantasy "The City of Lost Children".
As a director, Scott's short film work has screened at multiple Academy Award qualifying festivals; Seattle International Film Festival, Palm Springs International ShortsFest, Hollyshorts Film Festival, Japan's Short Shorts Festival, and Sydney's St. Kilda Film Festival. He recently was 2nd Unit Director of the theatrically released feature film "Black Water: Abyss".
